Release of the handle on any BBC equipped Honda lawnmower

empty a grass bag without having to stop and then restart

Quadra Cut™ mulching system
Twin blades with four cutting edges and a special deck

Aluminium Deck Series
There are three models available in Honda's premium
range HR215 Aluminum Deck Series. All models have 21
inch aluminum cutter decks. Two models have a hydrostatic
transmission which allows infinite ground speed adjustment
with a simple touch of a lever and the third has a 3-speed
gear-driven transmission. The "HMC" model
has D.C. electric start.
The HR215 series come standard with all of the high
quality features we're noted for, including our top-of-the-line,
commercial grade GXV140 Honda OHV Engine for reliable
starting and quiet operation, BBC (Blade Brake Clutch)
which engages and stops the cutter blade, a large capacity
rear grass bag and height adjustable control handles.

Commercial Series
When cutting lawns is your job, not your weekend relaxation,
you need a mower that will keep cutting day after day,
year after year.
Honda's rugged, heavy duty steel-deck HRC series start
out tough like our residential mowers, but then we make
them tougher. Both models ride on heavy-duty wheels
with precision sealed ball-bearings, while additional
reinforcement in the 1-inch steel handlebar means it
can take a beating without bending. Deckside guards
act like a bumper during those abrupt meetings with
curbs, fences or other obstructions. Even the muffler
and heat shield are built oversize and extra strong.
And don't forget that both of Honda's commercial mowers
are fully convertible, so you can switch from rear bagging
to mulching* to side discharge from one job to the next.

Xenoy® Deck Series
Here is another Honda first: Xenoy Resin cutter-deck
construction. This lightweight, durable material developed
by General Electric is not only tough, resilient and
completely rust-proof, it is easier to clean, won't
fade and results in quieter operation. It's the future
of lawnmower construction, and, again, Honda has it.
All Honda Xenoy series lawnmowers feature an ergonomically
designed three-position handle which puts controls just
where you need them, six cutting height adjustments,
standard BBC (Blade-Brake-Clutch) and fold-down handles
for storage and easier portability.
And, as an added convenience, all of these Honda's are
completely convertible, meaning you can switch from
grass-bagging mode to mulching to rear/side discharge
in seconds, without tools. All HRB217 lawnmowers come
with Honda's twin-blade mulching system and a large
capacity rear grass bag as standard equipment. A rear-mounted
side discharge chute is optional.
